Ingredients
2 T. butter2 stalks celery, chopped1 package(8 oz)sliced fresh mushrooms1 C. chopped frozen onions1 t. crushed garlic3 C. chopped leftover turkey2 C. frozen peas and carrots1 can 14 oz. reduced sodium chicken broth2 packets turkey gravy mix'1 1/2 C. baking mix1/4 C. fat free sour cream2 T. fresh chopped sage1 t. black pepper
Directions
The serving size for this dish is 6. In a dutch oven, melt utter ovr medium heat. Add ceery, mushrooms, onions and garlic' cook fr 2 minutes. Add turkey, peas, carrots and broth. Whisk in turkey gravy mix. Bring to a boil over medium/high heat. Meanwhile, make dumplings. In a medium size bowl, combie baking mix, sour cream, sage an black pepper, stirring until soft dough forms. When soup comes to a boil, crop heaping tablespoons of the dumpling dough into soup. Maintain a low boil and cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Cover and cook fr 10 minutes more. Dumplings are done when hey are dry inthe ente. Ladle soup and dumplings into soup bowls and serve hot.
