Banana Spicy Wheat Bread

Ingredients
2 cup whole wheat flour¼ cup wheat germ1 tsp salt1 tsp baking soda½ tsp cinnamon¼ tsp allspice¼ tsp nutmeg2 cup mashed ripe banana (about 4 or 5)¼ cup vegetable oil½ cup honey2 eggs
Directions
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl; stir well. Combine banana, oil, honey, and eggs; mix well. Make a well in center of dry ingredients; add banana mixture and stir just until moistened.

Spoon into well-greased and floured 9 x 5 loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hour or until bread begins to pull away from sides of pan and a wooden skewer inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes; then turn out onto a rack to cool completely. Makes 1 loaf.
