Low-fat, fast turkey chili

1 lb. ground turkey breast1 green bell pepper, chopped1 white onion, chopped1 can (14 oz.) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste1 can diced tomatoes, any flavor, undrained1 1/2 cup water (more if thinner chili is desired)2 tbls. paprika2 tbls. oregano3/4 tsp. cumin1 1/4 tsp. garlic powder1 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper1 tsp. onion powderred pepper flakes (to taste)
1. In large pot, brown turkey over medium heat. When turkey starts to break up, add onion and pepper and sautee until onions are translucent.
2. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Makes 6 large, 2-cup servings.
