Melissa's Cornbread

Ingredients
1-1/2 C. Self-rising cornmeal1 Egg (large)2 Tbs Oil1 C 2% milk1/2 cup chopped onion
Directions
Place 1 Tbs oil in cast iron skillet and put in a 450 oven. While heating mix cornmeal, egg, milk and oil. Stir in onions. Remove pan and pour batter in pan. Cook about 20 minutes or until lightly browned on top.
