0.50 cup Sour Cream 2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 1 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 1.25 tsp Baking Soda 8 tbsp Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened 2 cup Granulated Sugar 2 cup Flour, white .50 cup Butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350F degrees
Spray a 9x13 pan with pan release.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder and baking soda. Add the sour cream and melted butter, mixing well. Add one-cup of boiling water mixing well. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
Pour into the prepared cakepan and bake at 350F degrees for 30-35 minutes. Test with a toothpick.
When cool, frost as desired...or serve with Hot Fudge Sauce. :-)
