Spinach/Feta Burgers

Ingredients
1 cloves garlic crushed1 red onion, chopped1 box, 10 ounces, frozen spinach, defrosted 2 teaspoons dried oregano, lightly crushed in the palm, divided1/4 pound feta crumbles (look for lf ones)1 1/3 pounds ground turkey breast, 1 tablespoon Montreal Steak Seasoning by McCormick
Directions
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Give the pan a spritz with cooking spray - add the chopped garlic and chopped red onion and cook 5 minutes. Transfer the onions and garlic to a bowl to cool.
Wring the defrosted spinach dry buy twisting it in a clean kitchen towel over your sink. Separate the spinach as you add it to the bowl with cool onions, garlic and season with 1 teaspoon of oregano. Add in feta crumbles then chicken or turkey, grill seasoning and a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil. Mix and form into 4 patties.
Grill until done to your liking.

    I made this pretty much exactly as it's written, except I made them small, like sliders, because I figured that would be more appealing to my 2 little girls. And I was right! They loved it! It made 15 sliders. - 4/11/12

    I also used only one lb of turkey and made 5 patties. It was awesome! I ate one and froze the others for packing lunches. Very moist and tasty. I used the thin whole wheat buns that are only 80 calories, and used nf mayo, lettuce onion and tomato. - 1/27/10

    We are having this again!
    We used only 1 lb of turkey and 3/4 of the spinach and we had 5 hamburger 5". I ate one with a little feta sprinkled on top, tomato and lettuce and it was very good!!
