Ginger Cookies

Ingredients
3/4 Cup Shortening4 Tbs Molasses1 Cup Sugar1 Egg2 tsp Baking Soda1 tsp Ginger3 tsp Cinnamon2 Cups FlourExtra sugar for rolling if desired
Directions
Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in egg and molasses. Add baking soda, ginger, cinnamon,and flour and mix well. Roll in walnut size balls. Roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and press down with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-9 minutes.
