Brunswick Stew

Ingredients
1 quart water1 lb. meat (ground beef or bison, chicken etc.)1 onion, diced3 white potatoes, diced4 cups diced fresh tomatoes or canned4 cups okra, cut2 cups lima beans3 ears of corn (cut kernels off or use equivalent amount of frozen corn kernels)seasonings (salt, pepper, bay leaf, thyme; use your imagination)
Directions
Put meat, potatoes, tomatoes, lima beans, okra, onion into a large pot with 1 quart water. Add any seasonings desired (bay leaf, thyme, salt and pepper). Bring to boil and simmer for 4 hours. Add corn kernels and simmer for one more hour.
