1 medium eggGround ginger 2tspBaking powder 1tspSugar 175 gramsPlain white flour 225gramsButter, unsalted 100grams
Makes 45 biscuits
Sift together flour, baking powder and ginger
rub in butter finely
add sugar and egg, mix together to make a dough
shape into a sausage 2inches diameter and wrap in foil.
refrigerate for 1 hour
Slice off amount of biscuits needed thinly and leave remainder in fridge (lasts approx. 1 week)
place on greased baking tray, well spaced as they will spread.
Cook at 190C/375F for 10-12 mins or light golden
