Ground Beef Taco Meat

Ingredients
2 lb. lean ground beef1/2 onion (or to taste)1 tsp. chopped garlic ( or to taste)1 pkg. taco seasoning (or more if in large container, to taste)1 can tomato sauce1 can corn1/2 bunch fresh cilantro (or more, optional)
Directions
Brown 2 lb. lean ground beef with onion and garlic. Add taco seasoning, corn, tomato sauce and cilantro. Heat thuroughly. Serve on any kind of taco shells with cheese, onions, lettuce, olives, cilantro and salsa.
Can even be used for taco salads.

    A nice variation on tacos. I had cilantro and garlic on hand and this recipe allowed me to put them to use. Next time I'll use a more liberal amount of garlic instead of the 1 tsp. - 5/28/09
