Greek Lentil Soup

Ingredients
Lentils 2 cupstomato sauce with tomato tidbits 2 cupsonion chopped .5 cupgarlic clove crushedoregano 1 tbspbay leaf 1 tbsp crushedpepper black 1 tbspolive oil .25 cupwater 2 cupssalt 1 dash
Directions
Saute onion and garlic in olive oil. In seperate pot bring lentils to boil and rinse with fresh water. Bring lentils to boil again and rinse again. Add rest of ingredients with lentils to saute'd mix and simmer for one hour or until lentils are soft. Add more water as needed to maintan soup consistancy.
Makes 6 to 8 servings for a meal or as a side dish. Warms up delicious as a leftover and can also be frozen for future meals.
