1 c. chopped onions1 c. chopped peppers (green or red)1 c. celery1 1/2 lbs. ground turkey or veal1 tsp. seasoned salt1/2 tsp. pepper1 tbsp. oregano2 cloves garlic, crushed14 1/2 oz. can Italian style tomatoes, chopped15 oz. can tomato sauce2 c. water8 oz. pkg. fettuccini noodles, or desired pasta8 oz. pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Directions
Sauté onion, celery, pepper, garlic and spices in large no-stick pan. Add meat and cook until brown. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and water and simmer for 15 minutes. Spray a 9"x13" pan with Pam and cover bottom of pan with sauce. Spread noodles over it evenly, then add remaining sauce. Top with cheese and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. One-eighth of this is equal to 3 protein (2 meat, 1 cheese), 1 vegetable, 1 bread exchange. A Weight Watchers member developed this recipe. It freezes well, too.

Yes...sounds confusing about whether or nor the noodles or pasta is cooked first or not...I am assuming cooked?
As far as tthe comment about the cheese getting dark after baking X 1 hr....since all food in the casserole is cooked the cooking time would not have to be percise...just enough to blend - 3/18/12

Made this the other day. I have been cooking for quite some time and have never thrown out a dish until I made this one. - 12/13/08

Quite tasty...I either wouldn't bake for an entire hour, or wait before adding the cheese. It was pretty dark by the end of baking time. - 12/7/08

This sounds really good! Also, if you look at the ingredient details it states that you need 8oz of cooked pasta - 12/7/08
