Carrot Chowder

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained1/2 c chopped celery1/2 c chopped onion1 c chopped green pepper2 1/2 c grated carrot1 (32 oz) can tomato juice1 (10 3/4 oz) cans condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted1 1/2 c water1/2 tsp garlic salt1/2 tsp dried marjoram1 tsp sugar1/2 tsp salt
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a large Dutch oven or soup kettle. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 1 hour or until the vegetables are tender. Yield 10 cups.
