Original Tollhouse Cookies

Ingredients
2 eggs (large)1 c softened margarine or shortening1 tsp vanilla1 c chopped pecans1 tbsp water1 tsp baking soda3/4 c brown sugar (packed)3/4 granulated sugar2 3/4 c flour1 bag (16 oz) semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt, set aside. Combine softened butter (or shortening) with granulated sugar, brown sugar (firmly packed), vanilla and water, beat until creamy. Beat in two eggs and add flour mixture. Mix well. Stir in one 12 oz package of chocolate chips and 1 c chopped pecans. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 min.
