Sirloin Pasta

1 box (13.25oz) Ronzoni whole wheat Penne pasta, cooked1 pound top sirloin - trimmed1 teaspoon kosher salt1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper1 tablesppon butter1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil1 tablespoon all-purpose flour1 cup beef broth1 medium sweet onion, chopped1 teaspoon chopped fresh garlic3 tablespoons reduced fat sour cream6 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Cook pasta according to box instructions.
Chop beef into strips,about 1/2 inch thick. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Over medium heat, melt butter in a large skillet. Blend in flour. Gradually stir in broth until thick and smooth. Stir frequently.
Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat, Add Beef, onion and garlic. Cook until browned.
Add beef to sauce mixture, cover, cook on low for about 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream and heat through. Do not boil. Pour over noodles and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
