buttery jam cookies

Ingredients
2 c flour1 t baking powder1/2 t ground ginger1/4 t salt1 stick butter2/3 c sugar1 large egg2 T milk1/2 t vanilla1/4 c jam of choice
Directions
Preheat oven to 375. Beat butter until creamy and smooth, add sugar and beat for a minute. Add egg and beeat for 2 minutes, add milk and vanilla and bet just until combine. Add jam and beat for 1 minute more. Add flour, ginger, Baking powder and salt, beet until combine. Spoon the dough onto baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Makes 28-30 2 in cookies.
