Potato Soup, Beefy

5 cups water1 medium onion chopped1 med. potatoes diced2 cups (1 can) Beef broth2 Tbsp Salted butter 1 tsp salt1/8 tsp black pepper1/4 cup sliced carrots 1/2 cup evaporated milk 2 tbsp flour
In a large sauce pan combine all ingredients except for evaporated milk. Bring to boil. Turn heat down to med and simmer until potatoes and carrots are cooked. Add evaported milk. Bring soup to boil and thicken with corn starch or flour.
Make 8 cups.
