This was really good. I now use this as a staple for many recipes that ask for ground beef. After I cook the recipe I saute onions and then add in the fake meat and toss it. Love it. Thanks for sharing. - 3/1/09

This was perfect to do with the TVP in the cupboard. I am new at this TVP thing, and this made me want to try to use it more. - 11/13/08

This was very good, and is nice to make for a couple of reasons: the seasoning is flexible and can be adjusted for amount/content as desired. Also, the quantity is reasonable for making a small amount so there aren't tons of leftovers....reduces waste in my opinion. Enjoyed it! - 10/16/09

I used tomato sauce instead of ketchup (I don't like ketchup) and left out the sugar. Tasted great to my palate! - 4/26/09

Sorry to be so harsh but I thought this recipe, as is, is awful. Way too sweet. I will not be trying this recipe. - 3/22/09

I've been trying to find meat substitutes without giving up taste, and this is close to actual taco meat. I will definitely be making this again. One thing I like about it is that it is not as "heavy" as ground beef." And so much healthier! Thanks for the recipe! - 3/15/09
