for BBQ Sauce:1 1/2 cups water5 Tbsp. brown sugar2 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce1 1/2 cups Heinz no salt added ketchup2/3 cup cider vinegarFor Dish:2 lbs jennie-o extra lean ground turkey2 cups homemade bbq sauce1 med spanish onion diced1/2 tsp crushed garlic1/2 tsp celery seed2 tsp yellow mustard1/4 cup molasses15.25 oz red kidney beans, boiled drained15 oz navy beans, boiled, drained8 oz fresh mushrooms, cooked
for sauce:
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cover pan and simmer gently for about 1 1/2 hours until sauce thickens. if making ahead of time, store in tightly covered jar in refrigerator. Makes about 2 cups.
for Cowboy beans :
brown ground turkey, drain
add meat and all other ingredients into a crock pot. stir well. cook in crock pot on low-med for at least 3 hours.
makes 8 1 cup servings
