Ingredients
1 Cup Butter1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour2 Cups Quaker Old Fashioned Oats1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar1 tsp Baking Soda
Directions
Put all ingredients into a bowl.

Punch, pound, mix, mash...the more the better! Make sure all ingredients are incorporated evenly.

Make into 1 inch balls and place on non-greased cookie sheet. Place 2 inches apart. Use the bottom of a glass to smash cookies flat.

Bake 10 minutes in 350 degree oven. Allow to cool completely before removing from tray (they will fall apart if not cool or if overcooked)

Makes 70 cookies.

***I know it seems strange to have cookies with no eggs, but trust me, it works, and they are delish!

So easy and simple, but you have to make smaller balls if you really want to get the 70 portions out of it.... I only got 25 cookies. - 8/6/09

These are great, and fairly easy to make. Mine spread so if you don't stick to 1" balls or smaller they will be huge when you finish. - 4/14/10

Delicious, and so easy! I had all the ingredients on hand, and the recipe really did make 70 cookies, too. These are really thin cookies, but they are hearty, crispy and lightly chewy from all the oats. I love this recipe and will make it again! - 7/15/09

These cookies are absolutely delish! I took them to work, and nobody had any idea they were made with whole wheat flour. Not only are they tasty, they took very few ingredients, and are so simple to make. - 4/7/09
