Tastes Like Homemade Pasta Sauce

Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil1 can diced tomatoesGarlic cloves, finely chopped (to taste...I use 5)1/4 cup chopped parsley2 tablespoons tomato paste1 onion, finely sliced1 jar store bought pasta sauce
Directions
Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to skillet and heat til shimmering. Add sliced onions and cook til transparent. Add tomato paste and stir into onion til paste is brick red. Add chopped garlic and cook 1-2 minutes til garlic is fragrant. Add diced tomatoes and simmer til liquid evaporates, stirring frequently. Once mixture has lost most of it's liquid, add pasta sauce. Add parsley and stir.

Serve with cooked pasta.
