Roasted Applesauce

Ingredients
4 medium-large apples, peeled and chopped1/4 cup water2 tsp sugar1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400F.
Place apple pieces in a deep roasting dish.
Combine water, sugar and cinnamon, pour over apples and toss.
Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes or until apples are soft and beginning to caramelize.
Mash the apples with a potato masher for a chunky texture or run through a food mill for a fine puree.
