Hanny's lentil soup

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups dry lentils3 medium carrots4 small red potatoes1 cube chicken bouillon4 cups water, more as needed
Directions
makes 6 servings, 1 1/2 cups each
soak lentils overnight
add other ingredients
cook 15 min in pressure cooker at 10 lbs pressure
let steam pressure out
ENJOY!!

if you want to enhance the flavor:
add heated smoked turkey necks, calculate separately
ENJOY!

    That was fairly easy... although I used canned lentils (that's what I had), and since I had twice as much, I doubled the water too... bad. Anyway, we added spices in the beginning and it wasn't enough. This needs spices - a minimum of salt and pepper while cooking, but otherwise a good base. Thanks! - 1/6/09
