Ingredients
2 sticks of unsalted butter2 cups of sugar 4 tbsp cocoa1 cup of milk2 cups of flour200g of raisins4 eggs1 tsp of baking powder1 package vanilla sugar1 tsp of vanilla extract
Directions
In a large pan mix cocoa with sugar, add milk and butter and bring to a boil. Put away half cup of the mixture for frosting. Add 2 cups of flour, vanilla extract, eggs and stir, don't worry about small clumps of flour, they will be absorbed. Add raisins and baking powder. Transfer to a baking form (spring form is good) and bake for about 45' in 180C (350F). Cool and frost with the cocoa mixture. You may separate eggs and add yolks first and then whipped whites, which never works for me - raisins sink to the bottom. You could use dried sour cherries or blueberries instead of raisins.
