Wild Rice Saute

1 c. wild rice2 c. chicken broth1 1/2 tbsp. butter, dividedSalt to taste1 small red onion, diced2 cloves of garlic, minced1 tbsp. soy sauce1 tsp. brown sugar2 tbsp. red wine
To make rice:
Bring rice, chicken broth, 1/2 tbsp. butter, and salt to a boil. Reduce heat and cover, cooking according to package directions.
For the Saute:
Meanwhile, prep your veggies and start the saute. In a large saute pan melt 1 tbsp. butter and add garlic and onions and saute on med-high heat for about 5-8 mins. Add cooked rice to garlic and onions and stir in the remaining ingredients. Continue to cook on the med-high heat for another 5-10 mins or until most of the liquid has evaporated.
Remove from heat and serve.
