Chunky Split Pea and Turkey

2 C Split Peas2 C Carrots2C Onion Chopped2C Celery3/4lb Smoked turkey Breast
Directions
Add all your ingredients to one pot and simmer for 5 hours, or until all ingredients are cooked throughly. You could even put it in a crock pot and simmer all day and come home to a wonderful dinner.

    Here is a great tip for buying turkey! Go to the deli counter and ask them to cut it in 1 inch thick slices for a total of 3/4 pound. Then take it home and it is easy to cube! - 10/10/07

    How much liquid? Also not sure how smoked turkey breast comes. I'm used to seeing it only sliced deli thin. - 10/6/07
