Broccoli and Pasta

8 c fresh broccoli crowns chopped1 large raw onion chopped5 cloves of garlic chopped1/4 c olive oil1 14.5oz can diced tomatoes1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes8 cups watersalt and pepper to taste1 lb pasta
Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent. Add broccoli. Add diced and crushed tomatoes. Add water. Bring to boil and simmer for 45 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve over cooked pasta.
