Chickpea Masala

Ingredients
Chickpeas (garbanzo beans) - 1 CanCrushed Tomatoes - 1 CanOnions, raw, 1 large Yellow Peppers (bell peppers) 1 pepperGarlic, 1 cloveOlive Oil, 1 tbsp Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free, (or vegetable broth) 1 cup Garam Masala, 1 tbs
Directions
Cut onion and peppers into strips and saute in the olive oil. Add in the garlic towards the end to avoid burning. Cook until they reach your desired bite. Add in the can of tomato and chickpeas (drained) and the garam masala and allow to simmer for about 15m. Add in the broth as needed towards the end if liquid is needed. If you like a thicker sauce you can add a little tomato paste. Salt and pepper to taste.

Great served over rice or alone.
