Slow Cooker 20 Clove Garlic Chicken

Ingredients
1/4 C. white wine2 T. parsley (orig. recipe calls for dried, I prefer fresh when available)2 t. oreganoPinch red pepper flakes20 cloves garlic, peeled4 celery ribs, finely chopped6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts1 lemon, juice and zest
Directions
Makes 6 servings

Place the chopped celery and garlic cloves in the bottom of a slow cooker. Place the chicken on top of the veggies. Sprinkle and pour the rest of the ingredients over top. Cook on low 5-6 hours.

As an alternative, you can brown the chicken breasts with Pam in a frying pan for a little more color before adding to the slow cooker. For those who do not have wine, chicken broth is an acceptable substitute.
