Ingredients
* Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk, 16 oz * Ricotta Cheese, whole milk, 1.87 cup * Egg, fresh, 2 large *Parmesan Cheese * Spaghetti/Marinara Sauce (tomato sauce), 4 cup * Ground beef, 16 oz * Pasta, cooked, 9 oz
Directions
oven to 375
*mix ricotta, 2 cups mozzarella, Parmesan and eggs.
*brown ground beef
*layer 1 cup sauce, 4 noodles (UNCOOKED and slightly overlapping)
*layer 1/3 ricotta mixture, 1/2 ground beef, 1 cup mozzarella, 1 cup sauce
*layer 4 noodles, 1 1/2 cup sauce
*layer 1/3 ricotta mixture, 1/2 ground beef, 1 cup mozzarella, 1 cup sauce
*layer 4 noodles, rest of sauce, rest of mozzarella
*cover with foil and bake for 50 - 60 min or until bubbly. remove foil and bake another 5 min. let sit for 10 - 12 min then serve.

    It is very tasty, but a tad on the heavy side with the cheeses.. I'm going to try to find lighter version of them for the next time. Thank you ( it is very close to my mom's) - 1/27/09
