Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

1 lb top sirloin (or stew meat of choice)1 can Healthy Choice creme of mush soup1 can mushrooms1/2 pkg onion soup mix2 beef boullions1/2 soup can water1/2 cup light sour creme
Put stew meat, soup, mushrooms (with liquid), onion soup mix, beef bouillons, and water in crock pot. Cook on high 4-5 hours or low 7-8 hours. When done turn off the crock pot and take the lid off to let it cool down a little bit before adding the sour cream for thickener (you may prefer plain yogurt). Makes 4 servings - serve over noodles, rice, toast, etc.

I really like stroganoff, we have never made it in the slow cooker, and the ingrediants are pretty much the same. We do use lean ground beef sometimes, the majority of the time probably. It is still quite good. There is little to no difference in the taste. Thank you for the slow cooker version! - 11/2/09
