Crockpot French Onion Soup

8-10 large onions1/4 cup butter or margarine6 10.5 oz cans beef broth1.5 tsps Worcestershire sauce3 bay leaves10 slices French Bread, toastedGrated skim Mozzarella cheese
1. Saute onions in butter until crisp-tender. Transfer to slow cooker.
2. Add broth, Worcestershire sauce, and bay leaves.
3. Cover. Cook on low 5-7 hours, or until onions are tender. Discard bay leaves.
4. Ladle into bowls. Top each with a slice of bread and some cheese.
Makes 10 servings.
Note: For a more intense beef flavor, add one beef bouillon cube, or use home cooked beef broth instead of canned broth.
