Ingredients
1 c. whole-wheat pastry flour1/4 t. salt1/2 t. baking soda1/2 t. cinnamon (optional)2 t. organic sugar (optional)2 T. unsalted butter, melted7/8 c. lowfat buttermilk1 large egg
Directions
Makes 4 6" round waffles

Stir dry ingredients together. Whisk buttermilk, egg, and butter together. Stir wet ingredients into flour mixture. Pour 1/2 c. batter into waffle iron.
