Ingredients
1# Ground Turkey6 cups 99% fat free chicken broth or low sodium28 oz. Diced Tomatoes10 oz. RoTel Diced Tomatoes w/Green chilies1 cup carrots, diced1 cup celery, diced1 cup onions, chopped1.5 cup cabbage, shredded2 cups water1 cup of Whole Wheat Pasta noodlesPepper to taste
Directions
Brown ground turkey and onions until done. Drain. Add all ingredients EXCEPT pasta into large stockpot. Cook until veggies are tender. Add whole wheat pasta and cook additional 5-7 minutes. Serving size for soup is 1 cup. I guesstimated at the amount in the pot once cooked and guessed at 15 cups...that's what the calorie count was based on. When serving you can garnish with a little mozzarella, provolone or whatever kind of shredded cheese you prefer. Enjoy!

Warm soup that is very good and very filling for a cold South Dakota day! I needed a little more spice, so I did add more salt and pepper than it asked for. - 1/25/09

Hearty and filling. I did add some herbs and peas. With some bread, this made a complete family meal. The recipe truly does make quite a bit. I'll have some for meals next week also. - 1/17/09
