SandyB's Chicken Noodle Soup

1.5 lbs of chicken shredded3 carrots diced1 cup diced onions8 oz sliced mushrooms2 tsp. minced garlic1 16 oz pkg of Grandma"s Egg Noodles
makes 7-2 cup servings.
I boiled a 3 lb whole chicken, then removed the fat and bone. I used 1/2 for the recipe + all of the broth. I saved the other 1/2 for another day.
While waiting for the chicken to cool off to debone, add carrots, onions, garlic and mushrooms. I added sage and marjoram spices.
Cook on medium heat. Add 1.5 lbs of shredded chicken. Cook until carrots begin to get tender.
Separate noodles according to pkg and add. I cooked for another 30 min. or until noodles are tender.
