Country Fried Steak

Ingredients
1.5 cup flour1 tsp. season salt.25 tsp saltdash black pepperdash garlic powder1 onionround steaks, 4
Directions
Mix flour and pepper together. Sprinkle steaks with season salt, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Dredge steaks in the flour mixture. Heat 4 tbsp canola oil in a skillet. Fry until browned, 5-6 minutes per side. Remove steaks to paper towel lined plate. Keep warm in a warm oven.

Add 2 tbsp flour to the pan. Add pepper, and some salt to taste. Reduce the heat to medium and cook, stirring until the flour is medium brown and mixture is bubbly. SLOWLY add 2 cups water. Add the chopped onion. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Serve steaks with the gravy.
