Pam's Guilt Less Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
Directions
1 c whole wheat flour1/4 c wheat germ1/4 c flaxseed meal1 c oats1 1/2 t baking soda1 t baking powder1-2 dash salt3/4 c applesauce1 c sugar3/4 c brown sugar2 egg white1 c chocolate chips (1/2 c if using mini)
Cream sugars & applesauce. Mix egg whites into creamed mixture. In seperate bowl combine all dry ingredients. Add dry to wet. Mix just to combined. (over mixing will produce tough cookies) Stir in chips.
Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet that has been lightly sprayed with non fat cooking spray.
Bake for 8 minutes at 375 degrees. Let rest on cookie sheet for 1 minute, then remove to wire rack. Makes 36 single servings.
If muffins are more your thing, omit oats and spoon into ligthly sprayed muffin pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
