Jambalaya for the slow cooker

Ingredients
Matheson's smoked pork sausage, 500 gram(s) Turkey (light meat), 700 grams Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, 2 cup, choppedgreen pepper, 1 chopped Onions, raw, 2 cup, chopped Garlic, 4 cloves (Chicken Broth, 3 cup (8 fl oz)Brown Rice, medium grain, 2 cup chopped tomatoes, 2 tinsSalt, 1 tsp Pepper, black, 1 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp cajun spice, 3 tsp
Directions
Chop onions, garlic and pepper and pan fry until soft. Move to slow cooker. Chop turkey (can use chicken as well) and brown in pan. Move to slow cooker. Chop sausage and add to slow cooker along with all spices, brown rice, tomatoes and broth. Ensure there is sufficient broth for rice to be fully cooked. Cook on high 4-6 hours or until rice is fully cooked.
