Very good recipe, it's amazing what you can do with ricotta
. They use this and several other simple recipes made with ricotta on the south beach diet (phase-1).

This was delish! I used a packet of Stevia to sweeten it. Used it to stuff fresh strawberries, and it was very yummy. - 4/2/11

Great idea! I has some ricotta that desperately needed to be used and this was so simple. I used a Walmart version of splenda and one packet was plenty for 1 C ricotta. Thanks! - 7/10/10

I made this again today for a sweet snack after lunch. I didn't use sugar but I did add in some coconut flakes (although, next time I will toast them first). I love this snack idea! Plus I have a giant container of ricotta that I need to use up. - 10/11/09

This is good. Satisfied my YEARNING for something "Cool. creamy and chocolate" I used 1 pak Splenda, no sugar. Used my immersion blender in a coffee mug. Worked fine and ate from the mug, saved cleaning another dish. LOL Will try with a pinch of instant coffee next time, don't have expresso powder. - 9/30/09

This reminded me a lot of chocolate ice cream or frozen yogurt. Yum! Still tastes very good with fat-free ricotta and Splenda instead of sugar. - 2/27/09
