Zingy Carrot Salad

Ingredients
2 medium carrots, 1/8 inch slices1/2 medium green bell pepper, cut into thin strips1/2 c. thinly sliced onion2 T firmly packed brown sugar3 T balsamic vinegar1/8 t salt
Directions
Steam the carrots for 3 to 4 minutes, or until just tender. Drain well. In a medium bowl, toss together all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
