2 lbs 93% ground sirloin1 medium vadalia onion1 pkt low sodium Taco Seasoning Mix2 cups Instant Brown Rice2 Large cans diced tomatoesOptional : May add hot sauce, Salsa, chili powder, and/or Jalapenno peppers diced to taste.
Brown Ground Sirloin and diced onion together until cooked thoroughly. Drain off any liquid and/or grease. Transfer this mixture of beef and onion to a dutch oven. Add 1 pkt of low sodium taco seasoning mix and diced tomatoes, undrained. Cook on low to medium heat for 10 minutes. Cook Brown Rice in saucepan. Drain rice and then add the cooked rice to the meat,onion,tomatoe mixture in dutch oven. Stir thoroughly on low heat. Serve Hot. Will feed 12 people. Makes 24 1-cup servings.
