Ingredients
Pork Tenderloin, 5-6lbs with boneSweet Baby Ray's 1 bottle
Directions
salt & pepper the pork. (I use Boston Butt & when pulling it, I clean ALL the fatt off!!) Put in crock pot, put water in about 1/4 - 1/2 the way up the pork. Pour 1/2 bottle of BB-Q sauce over pork, cover & cook until done. I remove the pork from the crock & pull the meat from the fat & bone. I pour about 1 cup of the juice from the crock pot into a measuring cup & remove the fat from the top & pour the rest of the juice back on the pulled pork. Put the pork back into the crock & add the rest of your BB-Q sauce. When I put on my bun, I will add maybe another tbsp of BB-Q sauce. The more fat you remove the better!!! I use about 2-3oz of meat per serving but for this recipe I said 4oz, to get my 20 servings, some people like a lot of meat.

I think your calorie calculations are going to be way off if you use Boston Butt instead of pork tenderloin. Boston Butt has about 300 more calories A POUND than tenderloin. That's why it tastes SO good as pulled pork. 😊 - 4/30/16

This was so simple, I used Sonny's bbq sauce, and it was fantastic. I bought an 8 lb. boston butt left off the salt and pepper, PORK has plenty of sodium. Did everything else just as the recipe says. AMAZING taste. Also had enough to freeze for a later time. Didn't use buns, just pulled pork. - 3/2/09

This is just as good as getting it at a bbq restaurant. We used a different sauce because it was just a little healthier. It lasted for several meals for two people, even after we cut the recipe in half. - 11/16/08
