Ingredients
Directions
1/4 cup very fresh organic raw sesame seeds. (no the jarred wont work)1/2 T natural sea salt (with the minerals that come before processing)
Toast the seeds in a dry pan until they start to pop, and smell yummy.
Remove from heat. At this point you can go old school or modern. I used to mortar and pestle them until the right texture. But have used machines just be careful and pulse.
This is plenty to pinch and sprinkle over any dish (like veggies and brown rice). I have kept it in a small tub in the freezer. It doesn't clump up so no need to defrost. Be stingy until you know if it is too salty for your taste. I don't use soy sauce and this on the same dish.
edit: I changed the amount of the ingredients since it would not me to allow 432 serving. for the doubled recipe.
