I placed the whole raw chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock, turned it on low and started adding the vegies and spices. After about 4 hours the chicken breasts just full apart while stirring. I used frozen pre- cooked shrimp, and held the hot sauce until serving to accomodate all. Perfect! - 11/6/10

Excellent flavor. I added one can of tomato sauce to make it a bit soupier. Cooked 4 hours on low, then 1 on high, cut off the crock and dropped in the shrimp. Amazing!! - 10/28/12

Very good, I did a slight variation, I added an extra pepper & omitted the shrimp & lemon juice.

This was So simple! and it tasted great! I didn't have any shrimp, and didn't want to run back to the store, so I just added the chicken. Still turned out great! :) My hubby ate nearly the entire pot! Thanks!! - 9/22/09
