Ground turkey stroganoff

Ingredients
1.25 lbs ground turkey1/2 cup chopped fresh mushrooms1/2 cup chopped onions3/4 cup sour cream1/2 cup half and half1/2 to one cup water3 cloves fresh minced garlicblack pepper to taste
Directions
Brown the ground turkey, garlic, mushrooms and onions. When the turkey is cooked through, add the half and half, water (you may substitute 1 can cream of mushroom soup for the liquid ingredients) and sour cream, and salt/pepper to taste. Let simmer while you prepare whole wheat pasta to serve over.

    I added some extras like green pepper & celery. But even without that little change this was great. I will try it again but this time I will try and lower the fat. It is a little high for my liking - 7/9/09
