Slow Cooker BBQ Meatballs

Ingredients
Meatballs-------------2 lbs. lean ground beef1/3 c. ketchup1 egg, beaten2 tsp. onion flakes3/4 tsp. garlic salt1/2 tsp. pepperSauce--------1 c. ketchup OR 1/2 c. ketchup and 1 can tomato sauce1 c. packed brown sugar6 oz can tomato paste1/4 c. soy sauce1/4 c. cider vinegar1 - 1 1/2 tsp hot saucedash of chili powder
Directions
Combine ingredients for meatballs. Shape into 1 inch meatballs and place on jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes or until done. Remove meatballs from pan and place in slow cooker.

In a medium bowl, combine ingredients for sauce. Pour over meatballs in slow cooker. Cover and cook in slow cooker on LOW for 4 hours.

    These were very good and easy to make. I used garlic powder instead of garlic salt, and reduced sodium soy sauce to reduce the sodium in the meal. The BBQ sauce was tasty without being too tangy or spicy. Will make them again! - 4/23/10

    I've made these over and over, and they always come out delicious. I sometimes substitute ground turkey for beef, or use 1 lb. of beef/1 lb. turkey. My family loves them! - 4/12/10
