Carbquik Calazone

Ingredients
3 c. Carbquik2/3 c. hot water1 lb. Lean Ground Turkey1/2 c. Green Peppers, chopped1/2 c. Onion, chopped1/2 c. Mushrooms, chopped1/2 c. Mozzarella CheeseItalian SeasoningGarlic Powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Brown turkey, adding onions, bell peppers and mushrooms when almost done. Drain grease. Stir together Carbquik and hot water in a bowl. Beat until soft dough forms. Knead dough 2-3 minutes until dough is dry and no longer sticky. Divide dough mixture in fourths. Press each part of dough to form circle. On half of each dough circle place a fourth of the turkey mixture and a fourth of the cheese. Fold the other half of the dough circle on top of mixture and press edges together to seal. Spray pan with cooking spray and place each calazone on pan. Spray top of calazone with butter flavored cooking spray and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder if desired. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

    Carbquik is a low carb baking mix. It can be purchased online. It is similar to bisquick but this is a low carb version which is good for me since I am diabetic.
