L.R. date, nut banana muffins with flax and oat bran

Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat flour1/2 cup ground flax seed2 cups oat bran2 tsp. cinnamon2 tsp. baking powder2 tsp. baking soda1/2 tsp. salt2/3 cup brown sugar1-1/3 cups buttermilk1-2/3 cups mashed banana2 eggs2 T. oil2 tsp. vanilla1/2 cup walnuts, chopped and lightly toasted1/2 diced dried pineapple2/3 cup diced pited dates
Directions
In a large bowl, combine first eight ingredients. In another bowl, whisk together the next five ingredients. Stir wet ingredients into dry until mixed. Stir in walnuts, pineapple and dates. Divide into 24 greased muffin cups. Bake at 400 for about 18 minutes. Makes 24 muffins.
