I admit that I love sage too. And this was really great, despite ALL that naughty Butter!

Sauce is lovely. I didn't have sage so used dill instead. The pork chops I got were huge so I'm not sure the calorie count would work out. Great recipe though - 5/1/15

Very tasty indeed, but I didn't notice until after I made it that it's over 600 Calories/serving. I doubt I'll be making it again any time soon for that reason.

MicheleLee86: I think the fat content of the recipe has more to do with the butter and olive oil than the pork. - 10/24/12

Really good - I used Brummell & Brown instead of butter to try and cut the fat and calories a bit - and when I calculated it using a 4 ounce chop, my calories were way lower - think there may have been a mistake with the nutritionals? But a yummy recipe I will definitly make again. - 3/3/10

This is a delicious recipe. We actually double it and with the left overs we put the chops with sauce in th food processor and used it as a pasta sauce with green linguine Delish!!! - 9/4/09

I liked the flavor, but guessed on the stove temperature and wound up using too high a setting, so I had to add a little extra butter and oil to make the sauce usable on pasta. It's a good flavor, though. - 8/5/09
