Slow Cooker Oatmeal With Flax

Ingredients
2 Cups Steel Cut Oats3 Cups skim milk1 Cup Water2 Tbsp Butter1/2 Cup Ground Flax Meal1/2 Cup Brown Sugar4 apples, peeled and sliced2 tsp cinnamon
Directions
Spray crock pot with cooking spray. Add all ingredients to crock pot. Stir briefly. Cook on low 6-7 hours or overnight.

Makes 12 1-cup servings.

**This dish has a natural sweetness. I eat it straight out of the crock pot, but my husband likes extra syrup and sometimes chopped nuts.
